Unfortunately the normal access gate for Caravans is out of use.

If you are arriving before 10am on Tuesday please use Gate 2 which will be sign posted and marshalled, the normal gate will not be in use.

If you're coming from Windsor Town centre go over the mini roundabout after the railway station, along the avenue and it's the first gate on your Left hand side.

If you're coming from Datchet it is the 3rd gate on the Right hand side after the show ground

If you are arriving anytime after 10am on Tuesday and any of the following days please go to the mini roundabout and turn Left (if you're coming from Windsor town centre) or Right (if you're coming from Datchet, after the show ground). On entering the road follow it right to the very end, through the car park to the gate which will be manned by Caravan marshals.

Some of you will be aware that there are speed humps along this road, these have been re-done this year to be lower than in previous years, so access to all vehicles is permissible.

It is important that you follow the directions of the caravan site staff at all times to ease your access to the caravan park.

The caravan site is already fully booked.

NO ARRIVALS BEFORE 7.00am on Tuesday are permitted.

Thank you for your cooperation

... to quote Reporter Stuart Band in OurDogs

The annual Members' Supper was held on the eve of the show and, as always, it was good to see so many it friends and acquaintances enjoying a sumptuous Plyvine buffet, whilst entertained by Clem Cartledge. One wall of the marquee was transparent and provided guests with a superb view of Windsor Castle and a spectacular sunset.

There was no Royal Standard flying over Home Park for the duration of the show, as HM Queen Elizabeth was spending the weekend in Sandringham attending the christening of her latest great - grandchild, Princess Charlotte. It is to be hoped that she takes an interest in canine affairs just like her great - grandmother.

Jane Lilley, a familiar face at Windsor, was the Best in Show judge and she had a magnificent line-up of seven group winners to assess before deciding who should take the top spot.  So many interesting factoids came out of this year’s show and will share some of them with you throughout this report.

She chose for the top spot Espen Engh and his life-partner. Age Gjetnes’ Greyhound, Multi Ch Jet's Moonlight Serenade, who was attending her very first show in the UK who had been awarded her 1st CC & BOB by Dr. Ron James and the Hound Group under Jan Pain. The Jet’s kennel is the top winning Greyhound kennel of all time, having made up 192 homemade champions with more than 680 titles in 60 countries! The Jet's kennel was established by Espen and his late mother, Kari, in Norway in 1975.

This year saw the introduction of a new stakes class, the Windsor Charity Stakes. This was held in memory of 'Sunny', Ch Allmark Indecent Proposal JW ShCM, co - owned by Robert Harlow & Paul Routledge. All entry fees for this class are to be donated to the Cinnamon Trust, the national charity for elderly and terminally ill people and their pets. Generous prize money bad been donated by the owners and friends  of ‘Sunny' along with numerous  gifts and prizes donated by friends and trade stand holders and the daily winners were also presented with a magnificent rosette.
